How to Effectively and Efficiently Negotiate Hotel Contracts for Your Air Show

There is both art and science to negotiating the best possible deal with the hotel or hotels with which your air show does business each year. And, like anything else, there are assumptions, customs and common practices within the hotel business that you may not be familiar with. In this session, a subject matter expert on how to best negotiate and interact with hotel management will provide you with a summary of the current state of business in the hotel business and how that impacts your show. She’ll explain how to position your event as attractive to hotel representatives. She’ll explain how your budget, room reservation patterns, and past history with other hotels impacts your ability to negotiate a better deal. And she will help you better understand which parts of your contract are negotiable, which parts have the potential to create financial liability for your event, and steps you can take to negotiate a win/win situation for both your event and the hotel.
