Wingwalker Kazian Serves as a Roller Coster Reviewer

June 10th, 2012
As part of its effort to publicize its new X-Flight roller coaster, the public relations experts at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois, turned to the person most likely to know if the coaster designers achieved their goal of simulating a ride on the outside of an airplane: ICAS member and air show wingwalker, Tony Kazian. X-Flight, which is intended to make passengers feel like they are riding the wing of an airplane – cost about $15 million for Six Flags to build and is the first new roller coaster for the Six Flags chain of amusement parks since they emerged out of bankruptcy two years ago. The Chicago Tribune created this short video of Kazian’s ride on X-Flight.
